I'm 17 and I will be voting for Paul if he gets the Republican vote (highly unlikely) or runs as a third party candidate, or I'll vote Obama. There's no more Dems or Republicans, it's all the same.

"sad but true"

^u think? i guess but personally i'm fine with it. alot of young ppl (not all) are not informed enough to vote and dont care to get informed. i know u can't stop the ill informed or uninformed from voting so i'm glad alot of them stop themselves by just not voting.

it would be nice if we lived in a world where the youth cared about tax increases, war, etc but majority of the youth live in their own world. its always been like that.

sad but true. but like you said, it's hard to stay interested when both sides aren't following through in their promises (both Obama, Clinton and most of the Democrats backed down immediately on setting up a timetable for Iraq). i think the key to getting people to listen is --for lack of a better word-- BALLS. say something different from the other robots and stick to it. check out Ron Paul, a Republican candidate - while he'll never win the primary, he's saying some crazy shit that even the Democrats wouldn't touch.
