Well Done Common - that boy deserves that mainstream recognition - it sorta shows the people are beginning to listen!

…And I wouldn’t say he’s sold out in any way! He is still as true as ever.

Three cheers for Com!

2. Gezzius Christ Says:

By the way
I just need to say
that Graduation cover
is truly gay!

:D

4. Chris Says:

I’m feeling the cover. At least he’s not mean muggin with his shirt off.

5. Nahshon Says:

I don’t feel too strongly about this cover…but I certainly prefer the more simple one. The one with just the bear with the glasses…i think it’s the Stronger single cover?

I like the album cover. A little too “HelloKitty-ish” for my taste but at least it’s an original as far as hip-hop album covers go. Keeping the look of the last two would’ve been more consistent but I enjoy the “next shit” look. It’ll definitely be standing out on the shelves, catching peoples eyes and what not. Colorful, good marketing.

9. DSuper Says:

That’s a wonderful cover. Anime/ Dragon Ball Z inspired. It’s feels good to know MC’s still value creativity in Hip Hop. I like the lane GOOD music is carving for themselves.

10. Say Says:

It’s nice and all that Common hit #1, but the album is just too weak to be in a #1 spot. Only has like four good tracks.

Also, Kanye’s cover is good shit, and he’ll have no trouble topping 50. White people do love them some Kanye, after all!

WTF??? What you mean on it???

12. Nahshon Says:

ALL T.R.U. readers: If you love HipHop and get enough of the great emcees, then you no doubt have heard of Soulja Boy. Please take a minute to check out all of the love he is getting on youtube from his dance sweeping the natino.

LMAO. Enjoy.

I was kidding. But on the real, I can’t imagine them doling out paper on an album that’s not guaranteed to move units, especially with those measly numbers they’re putting up right now.

14. J to the AAP Says:

Riz, his manager should tell Warner that he has the same core-audience as that guy in the #1 spot right now. That’ll get some dollar signs popping in those eyes.

I’m with Sooch on the album cover, looks original and nicely fits the theme.

@Say: What album with the same release date would deserve that spot in your opinion?
