I almost feel bad for 50, even little Wayne is kicking sand in his eye. Not to mention that Graduation has been getting rave reviews in the streets. Poor Curtis. Reminds me of back when Prodigy was everyone’s laughing stock, getting dissed by both Jay and Nas. I wonder what all the G-Unit Stanleys are going to do about this. Better yet, I wonder how many copies of Curtis Interscope plans on buying to keep Fif closer to No.3, cause you can’t tell Kenny Chesney nothin’ either.
I think Curtis will still sell but yeah at this point I think Ye has gotten him beat, I will be a bit surprised though if Fif manages to outsell Ye, but what do I care about sales anyways..
kanye only got him beat on pre order…the hood dont pre order….young white girls and old asian men pre order…..im not sayin kanye wont outsell him…who knows…..but you cant go off pre orders….
i’m a fan of all these guys, but this beat really draaags, doesn’t it? it’s not one of kanye’s best and it definitely isn’t good enough for busta’s skills.
The “hood” also buys bootlegs instead of CDs that add to first-week sales. Also, young white kids are 50’s main audience, so if he’s lost them and their pre-orders….
@ David: basically what moneda said. I dunno why ppl keep bigging up the ‘hood’ or the ’streets’ when it comes to record sales when the real demographic is white and black suburbia..
