Half of you kids probably never heard of Big Moe, but he’s contribution to the game was relevant enough that it wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t pay my last respects. Moe was a founding member of the legendary Screwed Up Click. And if you know anything about the S.U.C., you know that Screw and co practically laid out the foundation for today’s Houston hip-hop scene.

Houston rapper Big Moe passed away early yesterday morning (October 14) due to complications from a heart attack, sources revealed to AllHipHop.com.

As previously reported, Big Moe, born Kenneth Moore, suffered a massive heart attack on Sunday (October 7) and had been a coma since he was hospitalized.

He never came out of the coma and was on life support 24-hours a day.

It’s sad to see all these S.U.C. legends dying off on a yearly basis. R.I.P. Moe.
