Apparently some people got bent out of shape about Michelle Obama’s comments on C-Span, “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country.”
Here’s what Bill O’Wildy said on his show with regards to Michelle’s remarks:
You know, I have a lot of sympathy for Michelle Obama, for Bill Clinton, for all of these people. Bill Clinton, I have sympathy for him, because they’re thrown into a hopper where everybody is waiting for them to make a mistake, so that they can just go and bludgeon them. And, you know, Bill Clinton and I don’t agree on a lot of things, and I think I’ve made that clear over the years, but he’s trying to stick up for his wife, and every time the guy turns around, there’s another demagogue or another ideologue in his face trying to humiliate him because they’re rooting for Obama. That’s wrong. And I don’t want to go on a lynching party against Michelle Obama unless there’s evidence, hard facts, that say this is how the woman really feels. If that’s how she really feels — that America is a bad country or a flawed nation, whatever — then that’s legit. We’ll track it down.
Wow, I’m almost speechless. Of course, he doesn’t flat out say “I would consider lynching Michelle,” but he came short of saying it. Besides, Fox commentators have a history of taking things out of context in order to justify their warped views on reality, so it doesn’t hurt to give them a taste of their own poison. This is Bill O’Reilly we’re talking about here, so they’ll probably let him slide with this one.

He doesn’t outright say that, but O’Reilly’s language is indicative of how he really feels about black people. If Michelle Obama was white, I guarantee he would not have said the phrase “lynching party”.
riz, this is the the kind of shit that conservative white rebulicans now have to spew out aginst the tidal wave that is barack obama. i think these guys are livin in the past, and by past i mean when segregation was prevelant. america is a mixture of colors and no matter which way u stir it, its not gonna come out white anymore, ya dig?
Someone wrote that into the teleprompter for him to say because that’s how he makes him money. If he had used the word witch hunt, or a much less racially connotated term, no one writes a blog post about him and the story doesn’t get him attention. O’Reilly walks a fine line on shit like this, and he and his producers know it. Maybe one day he’ll Imus himself, but unfortunately he’s done a fairly good job of seeing exactly where the line is and going right up to it.
I also love how all of these people that have bitched about their country at one point or another are pointing fingers when someone says they’re “really proud” of their country…
Of course, you probably won’t hear too many black people complaining about her saying that, since there really isn’t a lot for us to be proud of anyway…fucking America.
Wow…you guys are reaching. Have you watched O’reilly before? He says “lynching” all the time. You guys need to get off your high horse and quit being so god damn sensitive. You guys agree that things are worse now than in the 40s, 50s and 60s? If youre answer is yes, then youre as stupid as the Klan wants you to be. Quit listening to (C)rap, read more than your local paper, quit listening to sharpton, jesse and farrakhan. Read both sides of the story and quit feeling sorry for yourselves. Quit blindly following Dumbocrats. there practices are racist in their origin. With the internet now, all the stupid people youve followed and believed in should be relics.
Wow you guys really are taking this seriously… Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow…. It’s a FIGURE OF SPEECH. O’reilly has black contributors on his show all the time, stop being freakin paranoid idiots, and stop looking to be offended by every little thing somebody says. You people, (not as in a certain race, as in idiots) will try to slant everything somebody says you don’t agree with… Just because it’s not your point of view, doesn’t make it wrong. You think O’reilly is on his high horse? Pleeeeeeeeeease, give me a break.
