UNDERSTANDING Says: February 11th, 2008 at 7:07 am I am REALLY lookin’ 4ward 2 this album man 4 real. Some say its another statement album but I’ll take it. Don’t ask me why but I was watchin’ 106 & Park last week and some of the garbage I saw and heard made me long 4 the days when Rakim, EPMD, KRS-One, G-Rap and Kane ruled. Even a little bit later on with cats like WU, A Tribe Called Quest, B.I.G and Pac’ 1st got on. Nowadays there’s too much commercialism and too much emphasis on ringtones, applebottom booties and bein’ a hustler, pimp or a G. How ’bout bein’ a good emcee with somethin’ at least halfway worthwhile 2 say? woooord. |

Trent Says: February 11th, 2008 at 10:52 am Stop the madness! Nas’ album better be damn good. I’m tired of hearing/seeing all of this foolishness. Yes, I know that Nas is making a political statement with the N-word, but I would like to hear some music or a video that backs up his viewpoints on this inflammatory word. On a side note: Kelis has a great golden ass. |

Graham Kracker Says: February 11th, 2008 at 11:18 am Nas is a FOOL and a con artist and anyone fallin’ for this BULLSHIT is even dumber than he is ! His reasoning that everybody is a nigger is just to disguise the fact that he’ll do anything for record sales. Saying “Hip Hop is Dead”, then calling his next album “Nigger”, are purely marketing ploys, that brain dead consumers consider to be “deep” |

The One Says: February 11th, 2008 at 1:36 pm Nas is a FOOL and a con artist and anyone fallin’ for this BULLSHIT is even dumber than he is ! His reasoning that everybody is a nigger is just to disguise the fact that he’ll do anything for record sales. Saying “Hip Hop is Dead”, then calling his next album “Nigger”, are purely marketing ploys, that brain dead consumers consider to be “deep” ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Blah blah blah. Yet you fools willingly buy records where the word is used hundreds of times, killing and drugs are promoted and negativity praised. You buy Jay Z records where he glorifies cok and the sale of it within the community and talks about it like the best thing since slice bread. Your probably a brain dead consumer yourself. Call a spade a spade your just as much of a coon as nas, the fact is that black people like to keep their dirty laundry dirty when its in their own community, but when it gets out they get in a haste to clean it. What type of backwards thinking is that. Y’all lost. |

odrama Says: February 11th, 2008 at 2:26 pm Man, Kelis killed it at the end. “I had a song called “women are the niggers of the world” a few years ago, and its still true, by the way.” CNN, wow. |

Miss 504 Says: February 11th, 2008 at 4:46 pm Nas makes no sense anymore. Every now and then he drops a gem but its a rarity. I’ll always have love for Nas but haven’t felt him or his music in a long minute. First Hip Hop Is Dead and now this bullshit? wth. |

Ayrika Says: June 9th, 2008 at 11:49 am Nas is tring to hard to be the best and this title is igronant. why would you give an album that name? the word was used to put us down, and that’s it. all he is doing to giving people who don’t understand that something to laugh at. I know he wants to make a record that will have people talking and this one will. but for all the wrong reasons. |
