xbox 360 is a real beaut. if you’re used to PS controllers though, I’d go for PS3 cause that shit is dope too, i just can’t handle the nimble little japanese controllers

You get more of your money’s worth with PS3 though (Blu Ray,Bluetooth,Wireless connection)

but Xbox live is nice too, I haven’t really had any experience with Sony’s online service, so I don’t know.

I’m leaning towards Xbox because it has more games available. I’m interested in the PS3 but I wish that thing wasn’t so bulky and ugly.

even with blue ray the games are slow as shit, and and xbox live kills ps3’s online gameplay anyday

Unfortunately, I’m not amped about Blu-ray. I’m mad Toshiba gave up on HD-DVD.

Right now, the obvious choice is the 360. The new consoles are much more reliable than the old ones (I’m about to send in my second 360 in pretty soon, it looks like), and the library is second to none.

The PS3 is cool too, and Blu-ray is the future—don’t hate, Riz!

Being a hardcore gamer, I own both (and a Wii) so I don’t need to decide between ‘em.

I’m in the same boat inre: PS2. i bought that shit on a whim and love it. my ps2 is so ghetto - the piece that has the logo on the disc drawer broke off (thanks, lil khal!), and yeah it makes a loud noise. its my only dvd player in the living room right now.

i’ll probably break down and buy a ps3 in like 2 years. i’ve been pretty stuck on playstation - had a PS1 before this. i plan on getting the family a wii - my father in law has one and loves it, and with the shorties in the house, it just makes sense.

I got a PS3 about two months ago and it’s the real deal. Call of Duty 4 online is no joke. I was in the same position you are, not sure what to get. I think the XBox360 is in it’s prime now, but will start to show its age soon. The PS3 is gaining momentum and should hit it’s stride this year. The PS3 is more powerful and they are just now figuring out how to tap all of its potential.

It’s strange to see people civily talking about videogame consoles….

I’ve had the 360 for about 4 months now and can’t complain at all…especially with GTA4 not being exclusive…plus i got a store warranty so that I don’t have to worry about the ring of death (whereas relying on the MS warranty sucks cuz you have to mail it to them, wait awhile etc. etc.)
