Jay-Z Disses Oasis at Glastonbury
So says our man in the U.K. who’s been giving us real time play-by-play of the show. You may recall that Noah Gallagher (from Oasis) was talking greasy about Jay and people were blaming him for poor ticket sales, so Jay seized the opportunity at Glastonbury and dissed the sh*t out of Oasis. He then freestyled over Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab,” before launching into “99 Problems.”
Some of the songs he’s performed at the festival:
- “Dirt Off My Shoulder” a cappella
- “Jigga What”
- “H to the Izzo”
- “Heart of the City” over U2’s “Sunday Bloody Sunday”

According to TRU reader Feroz Gajia, “Jay just came on stage strumming a guitar playing “Wonderwall” by Oasis. That got the crowd on his side straight away.

he actually mixed ‘Is that your bitch’ into rehab via smack my bitch up (prodigy) and it was just his verse from the remix he did.
I sent my play by play to eskay, I didn’t think you were around rizoh, shall send it along right now.
Jay definitely held it down and the Lupe moment made me smile.
