No, that’s not a typo. Delicious Vinyl asked Eminem if he could possibly take a break from prank-calling legends and whip up a remix of Masta Ace’s “Slaughtahouse” for their Rmxxology campaign. He gladly obliged. Anyone who’s familiar with Eminem’s catalog knows that Ace had a gargantuan influence on his style. You’ve gotta hand it to Slim, he never hesitates to pay homage.
Delicious Vinyl’s Rmxxology drops on July 29th, 2008, featuring remixes to classic rap songs, like “Passin’ Me By,” “Runnin’,” and “Sittin’ on Chrome.”

I agree that Eminem’s beats are mediocre at best. But, to make it seem as if his rap skills are garbage is on some straight up hater shit. You can’t listen to his first 3 albums & tell me he’s wack…

All you Americans don’t even know what the wack is) I’m not crazy, but when I see everything around me, it drives me crazy, but then I remember the Eminem’s songs, and they help me to understand how to live in this big world and how to exit the big fuckin’ building with labirints called “Problems”. So I think all this thinkings about his shit is wack must go streight back to your mouth and never come back. For me and for my friends Eminem is one of the best examples how to rap good, even if russian rap sucks)

I catch myself over analyzing rappers that are on top from time to time, but it’s only really because they’re in the spotlight and it’s just that much harder to focus on the next man. They’re where they are because they’re loved, (period)
Yo Em is a beast with the lyrics. This beat is cool, but it matches Masta Ace’s flow. As far as beats you cant sleep on the Renegade track he did for Jay-Z or Carry the Cross for NaS. It’s cool if you wanna hate but you gotta give props where props is due.
