Music blogs are nearly as old as the Web, but the past year has brought unprecedented growth, influence, and dollars to the sector as people look for help discovering new music.
CNET claims that blogs will not only replace traditional DJs in the long run, they’ll eventually start signing artists to their own imprint. The article points to Stereogum and Pitchfork as examples of blogs that have successfully moved in this direction. So, if any of you rap singers out there need a record deal or something, I’m only one click away. Hope you don’t have a problem with me retaining 100% of the publishing rights.

Since the mainstream media has been focusing on the war of ‘words” between Clinton and Obama, I thought I’d take it upon myself to shine some light on a more important issue. In addition to Thomas Jefferson, Martin Luther King Jr, and John F. Kennedy, Obama has been known to plagiarize Bob the Builder and his buddies.

I can’t tell if it was intentional or not, but one concertgoer had the balls to grab RZA’s dilznick. Word has it that the alleged molester caught a beatdown after the show.
A couple of netbangers were stupid enough to taunt the law on YouTube, saying “they can come at us if they want to.” Unfortunately for them, the one-wish genie was listening.
Rudy Villanueva and Tony Logan, alleged members of a Miami-Dade County street gang called the Bird Road Boys, were seen in the video brandishing a shotgun, assault rifle and handguns. Villanueva was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement late Tuesday evening, and Logan was arrested early Wednesday morning [ABC].
